A Time of Change

INTRODUCTION

The world is not well. An atmosphere of unvoiced worry has started to spread over the planet. The ground on which we have firmly stood up to the present time is now giving way. World economy is more and more in crisis; energetic resources are becoming rarer and rarer and more expensive. Natural disasters now happen often. Global warming threatens man's very survival as well as that of nature itself in the more or less long term. Pandemics have increased. But that is not all. As before a storm, one feels the atmosphere becoming electric, people sense an undefined danger. One has the impression that everything is breaking down.

So what is happening? Is it the dawn of a new day? What direction is humanity taking? Who can remove our worry, and calm our minds with words of truth? Who can get us out of this dangerous impasse? New waves of life are now rising. Will we manage to ride on them or will we be swallowed up?

It is said that fear is a bad counsellor. As for worry, it inhibits our capacity to clearly analyse the situation, thus preventing the best solutions to be found. Let us remain calm. Above all, we must not be frightened, but we must not be thoughtless either by pretending that all is well. What is wise, is to always do what is right at a given time, with the best means available.

Let us therefore try to understand the deep causes of the present mutations and act. And especially, our actions must take the right direction to set the situation right. It is certainly now time to consciously build the future if we do not want to plunge together into the abyss. Fright often gives us wings ? It is absolutely necessary to seize the urgency of the moment.

On this website devoted to Shri Hans Raj Maharajji Sacha Baba, a very great saint who presently lives in Rishikesh in India, we will speak about humanity's problems, its future and solutions which will certainly allow us to build a better future for all. This is the work of Maharajji Sacha Baba, i.e. the coming of an era of light, brotherhood and happiness for all humanity. The aspiration for happiness and wisdom is buried deep within each of us. The time has now come to go from more or less vague aspiration to the realization of these dreams. It is a very favourable time ? in spite of appearances.

Society at a Crossroads

Since the beginning of that 20th century, humanity has entered an era which is pregnant with both marvelous promises and great perils. Outwardly, this has been manifested by great scientific and technological progress, which has made life easier for people in many domains. At the same time, as human consciousness has never truly progressed enough in the field of divine wisdom, humanity has known terrible wars which offset the advantages of technological and scientific progress. This is how things go in this world of duality where good and evil always go together as long as the divine soul does not rule the lives of individuals. If one adds to this the fact that the way of life of practically all human beings has been so upset for the last century, that more and more complex social, cultural and psychological problems have appeared, one will then understand how much the society is at a crossroads today.

Cosmic Energies Coming Down on the Earth

One generally thinks that all these outer upheavals are especially caused by modifications in society and scientific progress. But they are only the effects. The main cause is to be found in the cosmic energies which are coming down on the Earth and which push things in the direction of change. Now, among the unfolding cycles of evolution which rule our globe, one cycle which started off thousands of years ago is now finishing, and at present we are going through a period of transition before another very long cycle lasting thousands off years starts off. This new cycle will bring about great modifications in people's consciousness and also the reorganization of the whole human society.

Preparing Humanity to Meet this Great Spiritual Transformation of the World

Great Beings and Spiritual Masters are working now, as they have always done, to prepare humanity to meet this Great Spiritual Transformation of the world or Parivartan (as it is called in Sanskrit) in the best conditions. Indeed, although fundamentally when the new cycle is fully in place it should bring more harmony in the lives of men, the transition period or the turn towards higher and more beneficial values is dangerous in a way. On the one hand, the old world, which is not yet quite dead, is the one where both individual and national selfishness have ruled. Since the end of the Second World War, much has been said about cooperation, but apart from a little tangible progress in very rare domains, each country, each group and each person has tried to beat the others so as to be richer and better assert his power at the expense of others, as if no lesson had been learnt from the two very destructive wars which plunged the whole planet into mourning in the 20th century. The cooperation which different people had so cleverly developed in their speeches was based on hypocrisy. On the other hand, the new cycle which is emerging will be one of brotherhood, of sharing and especially one which will see men turn their hearts towards their eternal source, i.e. God.

The Great Shift in Consciousness has now Started off

The time has come to make Maharajji's message and the message of the Sacha lineage known to the world, for the great shift in consciousness has now started off and will progressively change the face of the Earth. This great Parivartan concerns the destiny of each person and it is essential that everyone be made ready to meet this new day. Thus, nobody can say “I didn’t know.” Maharajji, along with ShantiMayi and Prem Baba, two of his great disciples, instruct their students, not for them to selfishly seek their liberation only, but so that they can help to liberate all human beings. In fact, the Sacha lineage has made the vow to continue its activities until all men have been forever delivered from the chains of ignorance.
